BI Engineer (Tableau and SQL) - WORK FROM HOME

ITTConnect is seeking Business Intelligence (BI) Engineers who are experienced in Tableau or Sigma and SQL to fill a position with a US-based client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and consulting services present in nearly 50 countries.

As BI Engineer, you will work as part of a team in a challenging, innovative environment for our client. Investigate, create, and implement solutions for technical challenges using cutting edge technologies, including building or enhancing their data processing platform.

Job location: Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil. Must speak English. All interviews will be done in English, as well as the work after that.

Responsibilities:

• As a BI Engineer, you will build and scale data models, pipelines, and self-service analytics across the organization
• Develop highly loaded database solutions for various business cases including reporting, product analytics, marketing optimization and financial reporting
• Focus on developing a reliable aggregation layer and reporting structure that meets growing business needs, enabling teams to access and analyze data independently
• Contribute as part of a self-organized team of experienced data engineers working in a challenging, innovative environment for our client
• Investigate, create, and implement solutions for existing technical challenges
• Provide guidance and leadership to a development team to achieve project goals

Requirements:

• 7+ years of IT experience
• University degree in Computer Related Sciences or similar
• 3+ years experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data engineering or a similar role
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, 3Nf, data vault)
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau)
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or Scala
• Experience building reporting and dashboarding solutions using data lake/Snowflake or similar ecosystem
• Expert in database fundamentals, SQL and performance tuning
• Experience maintaining data integrity and reliability by leveraging data quality frameworks and orchestration tools
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical teams; comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and consumer information

Nice to have:

• Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies
• Experience with modern data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, DataBricks, Redshift)
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their data requirements
