We’re seeking a detail-oriented and cost-conscious Purchasing / Sourcing Specialist to manage and optimize supplier relationships for our Amazon private-label and marketplace operations. You’ll lead sourcing and negotiations with manufacturers, build landed cost models, and oversee end-to-end execution across samples, purchase orders, and logistics.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with operational rigor — ensuring smooth, margin-focused supply chain performance from factory to FBA / 3PL.
Source, vet, and onboard manufacturers; run RFQs and negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms. Build and maintain accurate landed cost models, factoring in duties, freight, and FBA fees to achieve margin targets. Coordinate product samples, specifications, labeling, packaging, and compliance with Amazon and category standards. Create and track POs from production through delivery; ensure on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) supplier and carrier performance. Monitor vendor performance (cost, quality, lead time, defect rate) and lead corrective actions as needed. Conduct supplier audits and risk assessments (geopolitical, compliance, capacity). Identify and execute cost‑saving initiatives through negotiation, packaging optimization, or alternate sourcing. Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes and supplier performance.
