Job summary

A recruitment consultancy in the UAE is seeking an Engineer or Inspector to oversee testing of construction materials. Candidates should have substantial experience in infrastructure projects and relevant qualifications. Responsibilities include conducting tests, ensuring material quality, and coordinating with contractors. Strong communication skills and knowledge of safety procedures are essential. Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years experience in construction of bridges, roads, infrastructure and irrigation projects (Inspector).
  • Minimum 8 years experience in construction of bridges, roads, infrastructure and irrigation projects (Engineer).
  • Prior RTA or Dubai Central Laboratory Approval is required.

Responsibilities

  • Witness all laboratory and in-situ tests conducted by the contractor.
  • Coordinate with the Work Inspector to confirm approval for testing.
  • Perform sampling and testing efficiently to avoid delays.
