• Key Objectives

Contributes to engineering excellence by translating design theory into practical plans for end-products. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing engineering drawings from sketches or general information according to standards.
• Creating detailed project designs for various sectors.
• Handling complex technical assignments using various procedures.
• Undertaking significant technical assignments within ongoing programs.
• Using CAD/CADD software to prepare drawings, diagrams, or models.

• Developing working drawings from specifications to support engineering deliverables.
• Creating drawings with plans, layouts, and bills of materials.
• Performing design calculations and recording observations.
• Designing and checking work from basic data.
• Establishing and monitoring drafting standards.
• Identifying cost-effective design solutions.
• Assisting in bid evaluations.
• Designing prototypes and evaluating data.
• Preparing estimates for activities related to testing and manufacturing.
• Generating bills of materials from designs.
• Coordinating small projects and preparing specifications for complex equipment.
• Ensuring quality and technical accuracy of drawings and materials.
• Planning work effectively and liaising with project teams.
• Conducting site visits and surveys.

• B.Sc. in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in major oil & gas projects, including at least 5 years in a similar role.

• Experience with Oil and Gas lifecycle projects in the GCC region.
• Pre-FEED and FEED experience required; detailed engineering preferred.
• Enjoys applying complex theoretical principles practically.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, good communicator, problem-solver.
• Willing to learn new skills and develop professionally.
