Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced BIM/CAD Technician to perform drafting assignments for highway designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD and Civil3D, with at least 5 years of CAD drafting experience in roads and highways within the UAE. Responsibilities include managing BIM activities, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role promises a dynamic work environment with ample growth and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting experience in roads and highways.
- Good knowledge in BIM and understanding of LOD requirements.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
Responsibilities
- Perform drafting assignments for highway design packages.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance and timely completion.
- Review drawings for adherence to standards.
- Manage all BIM related activities from project start to completion.
- Produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model.
