Job summary
A leading engineering services firm in the UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – Commissioning (HVAC) to lead HVAC commissioning activities across oil & gas and marine projects. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of HVAC systems design. This role focuses on ensuring safe and efficient project execution, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in HVAC systems design and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design, equipment selection, and system testing.
- Experience in oil & gas or marine projects preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute HVAC commissioning and completion activities.
- Develop commissioning procedures, schedules, and system boundaries.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.

Orbit ISS is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer – Commissioning (HVAC) to lead and manage all HVAC commissioning and completion activities across various oil & gas and marine projects. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and quality project execution in line with budget and schedule targets.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute HVAC commissioning and completion activities.
- Develop commissioning procedures, schedules, and system / sub-system boundaries.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams for smooth execution.
- Manage documentation for Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning.
- Monitor progress, close punch lists, and oversee warranty activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards (PTW & LOTO systems).
- Lead and mentor commissioning teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s / Diploma in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in HVAC systems design and commissioning, preferably in oil & gas or marine projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design, equipment selection, and system testing.
- Proficient in Carrier HAP, WinPCS, PIMS, or similar project completion tools.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
