Job Description

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on various equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and analytical skills to minimize downtime.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in detailed logs to maintain accurate records for compliance and future reference.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to implement improvements and upgrades on existing systems for enhanced efficiency.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and equipment, ensuring availability for upcoming projects and repairs.
• Follow company policies and safety protocols strictly to create a safe working environment and reduce the risk of accidents.
• Provide training and support to junior technicians, sharing knowledge and skills to foster professional development within the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to continually enhance technical skills and service delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical or mechanical fields is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a similar technician role, demonstrating proficiency in maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial or commercial environments is essential.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure to address urgent maintenance issues.
• Good communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for diverse work environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showcasing flexibility in adapting to varying tasks and projects.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
