The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Engineer / System Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. You will actively resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
• Maintain security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
• Support disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Document IT policies, procedures, and system configurations.
• Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and teams.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
• Good understanding of IT security concepts and best practices.
• Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Server+, or similar are a plus.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
