This role plays a crucial part in delivering high quality personalized healthcare support to patients in a home setting. As a Caregiver you will ensure that patients receive the necessary medical care attention and support they need to remain comfortable and healthy in their own homes.
- Assist the Homecare Doctor with patient assessments and followup visits
- Support patients with their daily living needs such as bathing, dressing and meal preparation
- Monitor patients health status and report any concerns to the Homecare Doctor
- Administer prescribed medications and ensure compliance with the treatment plan
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and interactions
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients adhering to health standards
- Collaborate with the Homecare Doctor and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Previous experience as a caregiver particularly in a homecare or healthcare setting
- Educational background in nursing, healthcare or related fields is advantageous
- Strong communication and empathy skills to support patients and families
- Ability to follow detailed care instructions and adapt to dynamic patient needs
- Critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions effectively
- Dependable and organized with a strong commitment to patient care quality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if necessary
