- Maintain accurate financial records for all yacht-related transactions, including operating costs, maintenance expenses, and crew payroll.
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements and budget analyses specific to each yacht.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Develop and monitor budgets for each yacht, analyzing variances and providing insights for financial decision-making.
- Coordinate with yacht management teams to gather necessary financial data and support operational planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements for yacht ownership and operations.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of necessary documentation for tax filings related to yacht operations.
- Track and manage insurance policies for each yacht, including renewals and claims processing.
- Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors regarding yacht financials.
- Provide regular financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders, detailing yacht performance and financial health.
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations that may impact yacht management and ownership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on yacht or luxury asset management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of marine industry financial practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
