Qualifications

• Certification in welding or related technical field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding and at least 12 years in a supervisory role.
• Certification in welding (AWS CWI, CSWIP) is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of various welding techniques, materials, and codes.
• Experience in oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of welders in tasks and projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of welders in the of welding tasks and projects.
• Ensure that all welding operations are performed in accordance with company standards client specifications and safety regulations.
• Oversee the preparation fitting and welding of materials ensuring highquality work.
• Provide onsite guidance and training to junior welders ensuring their skills meet required standards.
• Review welding blueprints drawings and other project specifications to ensure accurate and efficient work.
• Monitor work progress and adjust schedules and workloads as necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with welding codes and standards (e.g. ASME AWS).
• Report any issues related to welding including material defects safety concerns and quality problems.
• Coordinate with engineers project managers and other departments to ensure welding tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools ensuring they are in good working condition.

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; certification in welding or related technical field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding with at least 12 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Certification in welding (e.g. AWS CWI CSWIP) is preferred.
• Indepth knowledge of various welding techniques materials and welding codes.
• Experience working in industries such as oil & gas construction or manufacturing.

Skills Required
