Job Description
Position Summary

The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure efficient handling, packaging, and dispatch of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with ERP systems and logistics procedures.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Warehouse Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory of customer-owned and company-owned equipment.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage to support operational efficiency.
Shipping & Receiving Operations
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
  • Review and log shipment documentation to ensure compliance and traceability.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents, ensuring proper handover to carriers and maintaining dispatch records.
ERP System Utilization
  • Perform picking, shipping, and receiving tasks using ERP systems to uphold inventory and financial data integrity.
Packaging & Manual Handling
  • Package sensitive, high-value goods securely for dispatch.
  • Conduct manual handling tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling) in line with safety standards.
Position Qualifications
  • Proven experience with integrated ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Solid understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols, including handling of dangerous goods (e.g., lithium batteries).
  • Exposure to export-licensed products is advantageous.
  • Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good numerical and data handling skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics procedures is essential.

This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
