Job summary

A prominent urban design firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced urban designer to join their team. The role involves developing urban design proposals, preparing quality reports, and actively participating in client meetings. Candidates should have a Master's in Urban Design, a minimum of 7 years' experience, and familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD and GIS software. Excellent English communication is required, and fluency in Arabic is an advantage. Willingness to relocate to Oman during projects is essential.

Qualifications

Job description

The candidate will report to the Technical Lead and will be supporting the Technical Lead in the delivery of the assigned project sections.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing quality urban design analysis benchmarking and strategies.
• Preparation of urban design proposals 2D & 3D design simulations at urban / street block level
• Preparation of high quality reports and presentations as required
• Preparation for deliverables and active attendance at key client meetings.
• Support in stakeholder engagement

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience
• Masters in Urban design
• Hands‑on with softwares such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, AutoCAD is must. Experience using GIS software would be beneficial. Excellent communication skills in English.
• Reading, writing and speaking fluent Arabic is a plus.
• Experience in urban and regional planning projects of similar scope
• Willingness to relocate to Oman for project duration
