Overview

Are you a driven university student ready to gain real-world experience in the construction and advisory sector? AECOM is looking for an Undergraduate Intern to join our Advisory team and support projects that shape sustainable innovative infrastructure across the region.

This opportunity is ideal for students in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business-related fields who are passionate about data, project delivery, and the built environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project teams with data collection, market research, and technical analysis.
  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and client presentations.
  • Help manage project documentation, benchmarks, and internal knowledge libraries.
  • Draft and track Requests for Information (RFIs) to support project planning and delivery.
  • Participate in QA/QC processes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work closely with senior consultants across a wide range of disciplines including project management, cost consulting, and infrastructure advisory.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
  • Good communication skills and confidence in working as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with tools like Power BI or Primavera is a plus.
  • A self-motivated and proactive attitude with keen attention to detail.
  • Passion for learning and interest in the construction or consulting industry.

  • Start Date: May or June 2025
  • Duration: 12 months (starting with a full-time internship transitioning to part-time)
  • Location: Dubai
  • Part-time hours
  • Potential for promotion into a full-time Graduate role after successful completion of the internship and degree.
  • Eligibility: As part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labor law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
