Job description

Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the preparation of quantities estimates, tender documents, and the preparation and compilation of necessary information.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Construction Cost Estimates
  • Preparation of Tender Documentation; including detailed Bill of Quantities
  • Preparation of Tender Reports; including for critical analysis and comparison of tenders.
  • Preparation of Contract Documentation.
  • Cost Impact Assessment Reports for Potential Variations
  • Attending and recording Client, Commercial and Progress Meetings
  • Preparation of Monthly Progress Reports
  • Preparation of Executive Cost Reports for decision making
  • Project coordination from inception to completion in liaison with the Design Team and Client Representatives
  • Preparation of Development Appraisals
  • Evaluation and reporting on Tenders and Contractual Issues
  • Examining and agreeing Interim Valuations
  • Preparation of Interim Payment Recommendations
  • Review of Contractor’s Claims
  • Assisting in the preparation of Employer’s Claims
  • Cost Control and Reporting during Construction Stage
  • Preparation of Interim Cost Reports
  • Preparation and of Final Accounts
Requirements:
  • BSc degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Must have MEP & Structure experience
  • 5 years experience
  • 2 years in UAE
  • Proficient in the use of CATO & Cost XBIM experience is a plus
