Overview

Role: Teller - Floater
Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:
Delivering quality teller service to customers via accurate and efficient processing while projecting ADIBs professional image in all interpersonal dealings.

Responsibilities

• Processing of all teller counter service transactions such as cash deposits and cash withdrawals, and other transactions such as drafts, telegraphic-transfers, payment orders, standing orders, foreign currency purchase & sale, cheque deposits, aligned with operational policies & procedures where centralized telegraphic transfers are involved; liaise with Treasury department to obtain best rates for VIP and/or high net worth customers in coordination with Hops. These responsibilities may also include serving Private Banking customers at separate counters and processing any other counter service transaction introduced by ADIB from time to time.
• Cross-sell or identify and refer product inquiries from prospective customers to Sales staff.
• General reconciliation & control activities.
• Act as one of dual custodians for branch vault cash and security stationery.
• Assist HOP as the second custodian for dual control.
• Cash reconciliation & balancing.
• End of day balancing.
• General filing.
• Ensure proper understanding and processing for all centralized activities as per Branch Operations Centralization Projects.
