We are seeking a Stakeholder Manager who will lead stakeholder engagement, maintain relationships, and ensure collaboration and consistency in all written and verbal communications with various stakeholders, including government and semi-government entities. The role involves facilitating all project-related stakeholder permitting and approvals required for projects.
The Stakeholder Manager will work closely with the Business Group leadership to ensure smooth stakeholder liaison and management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and foster relationships with stakeholders, liaise with relevant agencies/authorities and client teams to obtain necessary approvals and NOCs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with government and semi-government entities regarding planning processes, clarifications, justifications, and permitting by statutory authorities.
- Develop, monitor, and update the Stakeholder Management Plan.
- Establish and maintain an NOC tracker to monitor approval statuses and ensure timely interventions.
- Coordinate project submissions, revisions, clarifications, and approvals with all stakeholders.
- Ensure project teams deliver required documents on schedule, complying with stakeholder requirements.
- Monitor progress of drawings and documentation for NOCs.
- Liaise with authorities on technical queries and issues.
- Regularly monitor project schedules for delays or deviations related to NOC progress, and notify leadership of potential risks.
- Participate in project design meetings and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate and gather information from agencies, consultants, and contractors for technical queries, preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Maintain and update stakeholder mappings, registers, and plans as roles and requirements evolve.
- Travel to government and authority offices as needed.
- Public/Government Relations Campaign Execution: Implement public relations and government relations strategies within established systems.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Support stakeholder engagement activities, including meetings, events, and materials to enhance understanding and commitment.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data using predefined tools and methods independently.
- Document Preparation: Prepare complex documents and reports using various applications.
- Campaign Management: Coordinate activities of subcontractors and suppliers to deliver successful campaigns.
- Operational Compliance: Identify and report instances of non-compliance with policies or regulations.
- Personal Development: Engage in training and development activities to enhance skills and maintain professional accreditation.
- Information and Business Advice: Provide guidance on complex processes and policies to internal and external customers.
- External Communications: Support effective use of external communication systems.
- Client & Customer Management: Assist senior colleagues in managing client relationships using relevant systems.
