Overview

#Hiring Sobha Reality we are looking for #SeniorEngineer - #SAPAriba Onsite Dubai UAE.

Role Purpose

Own the end-to-end design, delivery, integration, and support of SAP Ariba for Sobha Realty. You will drive process excellence across Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P), enable supplier collaboration at scale, and ensure tight, secure integrations with SAP ERP (S/4HANA). The role is hands-on and business-facing, spanning solution design, configuration, integrations, data quality, change management, and hypercare.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Delivery

• Lead solution design, configuration, and rollout across SAP Ariba modules such as Buying & Invoicing (P2P), Guided Buying, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Supplier Risk, and Commerce Automation (as applicable to Sobha’s roadmap).

Integration & Data

• Own design and stewardship of integrations between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP (S/4HANA/ECC) via SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) or relevant middleware—covering master data, transactional data, and interface monitoring.

Supplier Enablement & Adoption

Run & Optimize

• Provide L2/L3 support, root cause analysis, and incident/problem management; maintain a healthy Ariba Operations Runbook.
• Manage patches, releases, and regression testing; uphold SoD, auditability, and compliance (e.g., internal audit, external audit requirements).
• Define and track KPIs; drive continuous improvement (touchless PO/Invoice rates, cycle times, on-time supplier onboarding).

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain process/solution documentation (BRD/FRD, configuration records, test scripts, SOPs).
• Lead UAT, training, and change management; chair functional councils for P2P/S2C process evolution.
• Coordinate with InfoSec on access controls, data privacy, and vendor risk; implement controls aligned to Sobha’s policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8–15 years of total experience in SAP ecosystems with 4–6 years focused on SAP Ariba (implementation + support).
• Hands-on configuration experience in two or more of: Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Guided Buying, Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Supplier Risk, Commerce Automation.
• Proven experience integrating Ariba with SAP S/4HANA or ECC using CPI (or equivalent middleware); strong grasp of IDOCs/ABAP proxies/API payloads and error handling (functional ownership).
• Demonstrated success in supplier onboarding, catalog/content management, approvals, exception handling, and invoice automation.
• Strong business process knowledge across Procurement, AP, and Contracting, ideally within real estate, construction, manufacturing, or large capital projects.
• Excellent documentation, stakeholder engagement, and UAT/training facilitation skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• SAP Ariba certifications (e.g., Ariba P2P, Sourcing, SLP) and/or SAP S/4HANA Procurement knowledge.
• Experience with Ariba Category Management, Ariba Contracts authoring (CLM), or Ariba Risk programs.
• Familiarity with tax localization, three-way match, advance payments, retentions, and progress billing common in EPC/construction.
• Exposure to catalog integrations (cXML, OCI punchout), UNSPSC coding, and supplier risk/compliance workflows.
