Main Objective of Role
To manage flydubai Cargo’s Unit Load Device (ULD) program by overseeing both internal control processes and outsourced service provider performance, ensuring cost‑efficient, safe, and compliant management of ULD assets across freighter and widebody operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads and manages the airline’s ULD program, covering both in‑house oversight and outsourced ULD provider coordination.
- Develops and implements ULD governance frameworks, ensuring clear accountability between internal teams and external vendors.
- Coordinates with the outsourced provider to monitor daily performance against SLAs, including availability, repair turnaround, and loss control.
- Maintains internal visibility and control of ULD inventory, allocation, and stock movements across freighter and widebody stations.
- Oversees system integration between the provider’s digital tracking platform and SkyChain, ensuring accurate and real‑time asset visibility.
- Drives alignment between freighter and widebody operations, ensuring standardization of ULD specifications, procedures, and operational readiness.
- Manages vendor contracts and commercial agreements, including cost tracking, performance audits, and renewal evaluations.
- Collaborates with Cargo Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to ensure service quality, equipment compatibility, and financial control.
- Analyzes utilization and performance data, recommending optimization initiatives for repair cycles, stock balance, and cost reduction.
- Leads sustainability and efficiency projects, such as lightweight ULD introduction, digital automation, and network optimization.
- Manages all contractual, operational and technical aspects of ULD handling, tracking, and maintenance to guarantee full network readiness and long‑term scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 3 years)
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 7 years of experience in airline cargo, logistics, or ground operations, including at least 3 years in ULD or asset management. Proven experience in managing or transitioning ULD programs between in‑house and outsourced models. Strong knowledge of ULD operations, pooling systems, and digital tracking solutions.

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day‑to‑day business operations.
