Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Define and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that drives growth, engagement, and revenue. Align this strategy with broader marketing initiatives and business goals.
  • Oversee all social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), optimizing for visibility, reach, and performance. Continuously explore emerging platforms for potential growth opportunities.
  • Lead the ideation and production of innovative, on-brand content (text, image, video), ensuring it resonates with target audiences. Drive consistency in messaging and quality across all content outputs, collaborating with creative teams.
  • Manage and mentor a team of social media specialists, executives, content creators, and community managers. Ensure effective delegation of tasks, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Foster an active and engaged online community by driving meaningful conversations, moderating user-generated content, and ensuring the community aligns with brand values and policies.
  • Leverage advanced analytics tools to monitor KPIs, measure campaign success, and provide detailed performance reports. Use data insights to inform future strategies, identify trends, and optimize content delivery.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders (e.g., customer service, product, sales) to ensure alignment in messaging, manage the company's online reputation, and execute joint initiatives that maximize reach and impact.
  • Conceptualize and manage large-scale, integrated social media campaigns, collaborating with the marketing team to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring social media trends, competitor activity, and market shifts. Ensure the brand remains relevant and responds swiftly to opportunities or crises.
  • Lead social media efforts during crises, ensuring swift, tactful responses to negative feedback or incidents, protecting the brand’s reputation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and social media partnerships to expand the brand’s reach and credibility.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field, master’s degree is a plus
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in managing social media strategy and content creation.
  • Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprinklr).
  • Strong knowledge in the social media space and ability to create impactful and successful campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow social media communities and drive engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking with a deep understanding of social trends, tools, and emerging platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a great attention to detail.
  • Ability to tell meaningful stories.
