Job description

Black & Grey HR is hiring a Service Engineer Mechanical (CNC Machines) for a reputed client specializing in precision CNC and mechanical equipment. The role is responsible for the installation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC machinery. It also involves identifying and promoting Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) during service visits and supporting AMC sales efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission CNC machines and mechanical equipment as per job orders and technical specifications.
  • Conduct routine preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure machine uptime and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults in CNC machinery.
  • Monitor and maintain machine tools, ensuring calibration, part replacements, and system integrity.
  • Collaborate with CNC programmers to validate software parameters and ensure optimal machine setup.
  • Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for each visit.
  • Promote AMC packages to clients during service visits; identify opportunities and convert leads into contracts.
  • Coordinate with the Service Manager and Sales Team to develop and close AMC proposals.
  • Follow company SOPs and safety standards during all field and workshop tasks.
  • Provide basic training to machine operators on machine handling and maintenance best practices.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience servicing CNC machines.
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatic, and basic electronics.
  • Proven troubleshooting and repair experience in industrial/CNC machinery.
  • Strong communication and client engagement skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on AMC lead generation and customer retention.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; Arabic is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and work independently in the field.
