Job summary

A garment manufacturing consultancy based in Dubai is seeking an experienced Sampling Tailor. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in garment manufacturing and must be skilled in stitching knit and woven bottoms. Responsibilities include developing samples, modifying patterns, and ensuring quality standards. Fluent Hindi is required, and basic English is preferred. Male candidates already in the UAE are eligible for immediate joining. Competitive salary and shared accommodation are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in garment manufacturing/export units.
• Expertise in knit and woven bottoms stitching.
• Ability to read, understand and follow sample making instructions.
• Fluent in Hindi, basic English preferred.
• Only male candidates are eligible.

Responsibilities

• Stitch and develop samples as per design and technical specifications.
• Work on various types of fabrics including knit and woven materials.
• Modify patterns and garments as per designer feedback.
• Ensure quality and finishing meet required standards.
• Collaborate with designers and merchandisers for fit and design corrections.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the stitching area.
• Ensure timely completion of sample garments.
