Job summary

A leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking a professional to manage Trade Finance applications, investigate queries, and provide customer support. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in Trade Finance and a degree in Commerce or related fields. This is a full-time position with no remote work options.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Trade Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Process Trade Finance related applications/documents as per procedures.
  • Investigate records/files to establish facts required to progress queries.
  • Liaise with customers and resolve queries/problems.

Education

Job description
JOB PURPOSE:

This role is primarily responsible to 1) Process Trade Finance related applications / documents as per the laid down procedures and meet service standard. 2) Investigate records / files in order to establish or clarify facts required to progress queries raised internally and externally 3) To undertake specialised technical duties/assignments related to Trade Finance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Follow all relevant departmental policies processes standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Demonstrate compliance to organizations values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the bank.
Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems processes and practices considering global standards productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet department requirements policies and quality standards.
Other
  • Maintain zero operational loss
  • Adherence to SLA and Customer TAT
  • Achieve satisfactory Internal/external Audit OCS and OR ratings
  • Support in achieving high Customer Satisfaction Score
  • Support in achieving high rate of employee satisfaction.
  • Adhere to Training Man-Days for self
  • Execute departmental initiatives as advised
  • To Process transactions related to Trade Finance Products within laid down procedures.
  • Liaise with customers and resolve queries/problems
  • Ensuring timely updation of transactions in the relevant systems.
  • Ensuring timely review/revision of SOP
  • Conduct investigation to rectify errors
  • Ensuring attending all incoming messages within SLA system upgradation and Technical assistance to team members.
  • Prepare statistical data for internal and external relationship
  • Deal with customer/counterpart in other banks to respond to queries and problems
  • Correspondence of routine nature with customers and other external/internal contacts.
  • To identify risk in day to day operations and bring to attention of management
  • To provide technical guidance to customers when needed
  • To suggest ideas and strive for continuos process improvement
  • To expedite transactions of unusual nature
  • To hold records in custody as per designation memo
  • To ensure safe custody of records.
  • Any other duty/task as entrusted by the Dept Manager/Head
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualification
  • Graduate (Preferably in Commerce / Financial Services/Banking & Finance etc.) and preferably CDCS.
Minimum Experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Trade Finance.
