AHS, a premier organization in luxury real estate development, is looking for a Senior MEP Manager – Electrical Engineering to lead our electrical engineering efforts on high-profile projects. In this role, you will oversee all electrical systems design and implementation, ensuring excellence in performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. You will play a critical role in managing project teams and working closely with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the electrical engineering division within MEP projects, overseeing design, analysis, and installation of electrical systems.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for electrical engineering to align with project goals and client expectations.
- Review and approve electrical designs and specifications to ensure compliance with codes and quality standards.
- Coordinate with other MEP disciplines and project stakeholders to ensure integrated system design and functionality.
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of electrical installations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, while mitigating risks and addressing challenges.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams, fostering professional development and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends related to electrical engineering and energy efficiency.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on MEP systems in the construction or real estate industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale electrical projects from concept through completion.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Certifications in energy management or sustainable design (e.g., LEED) are a plus.
