Job summary

A leading construction firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor for a major ADNOC project. The role involves comprehensive quantity, commercial, and cost-control functions related to mechanical works. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveying with 7-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects. Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, along with ADNOC approval, is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of relevant QS experience in Oil & Gas mechanical construction.
• Experience working on ADNOC Onshore/Offshore projects.
• Previous or valid ADNOC approval as Mechanical QS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical works.
• Prepare monthly payment applications as per ADNOC formats.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation progress.

Skills

Knowledge of piping

Expertise in mechanical equipment installation

Proficiency in MS Excel

Experience with cost control systems

Strong analytical skills

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveying
