A leading engineering firm in the UAE is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specialized in water treatment projects including STP and RO systems. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in mechanical design and site execution, with strong knowledge in water treatment technologies. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering documents, managing project timelines, and overseeing site execution to ensure compliance with specifications. A UAE driving license is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the water treatment industry (STP & RO systems mandatory).
• Strong expertise in mechanical design, fabrication, site execution, and commissioning.
• In-depth knowledge of water treatment technologies such as MBR, MBBR, ASP, UF, and RO.
• Hands-on experience in piping engineering, layout design, pipe sizing, and material selection.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, workshops, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, or Plant 3D is preferred.
• UAE driving license is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications, requirements, and drawings for issued tenders.
• Ensure timely submission of all mechanical engineering documents as requested by the client.
• Oversee fabrication and site execution, including supervision of tanks, skids, piping spools, and supports.
• Conduct inspection and quality control activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Support commissioning and project handover activities.
