Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our PMC practice in Abu Dhabi United Arab this pivotal role you will lead and oversee complex mechanical engineering projects ensuring their successful from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate mechanical engineering aspects of largescale projects in the oil and gas industry
  • Develop and review mechanical designs calculations and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for mechanical engineering challenges
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including civil electrical and instrumentation engineers
  • Liaise with clients contractors and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment and compliance with local UAE engineering regulations
  • Perform quality control checks and approve mechanical engineering deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resource allocation plans
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements in mechanical engineering practices
  • Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to stakeholders

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering; Masters degree preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Minimum 810 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on project management consultancy
