Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Drafting Professional to prepare high-quality 2D and 3D drawings and support engineers with technical selections. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering, and proficiency in design software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, wiring symbols, and HVAC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D General Arrangement drawings.
• Develop layout drawings, piping diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Release drawings and BOM to the shop floor as per schedule.
• Maintain technical documentation including CAD drawings and specifications.
• Review and optimize product designs for cost efficiency.
• Prepare loading point calculations and determine line sizes.
• Create maintenance spacing drawings for customized units.
• Assist engineers in selecting accessories and calculating refrigerant charge.
• Prepare as-built drawings after production completion.
