A leading technology firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Manager – IT NOC to oversee 24/7 Network Operations Center functions. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and operational oversight, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with ITIL best practices. A strong background in IT operations, leadership, and stakeholder management is essential. Candidates should possess over 10 years of experience and relevant technical expertise, particularly in monitoring tools like SolarWinds or Nagios.
The Senior Manager – IT NOC is responsible for leading and governing 24/7 Network Operations Center functions to ensure high availability, stability, and performance of enterprise IT infrastructure and services. This role provides strategic direction, operational oversight, and senior stakeholder engagement, ensuring NOC operations are aligned with business objectives, service commitments, and long-term IT strategy.
Provide strategic oversight of 24/7 monitoring and support for networks, systems, servers, and applications.
Lead incident, escalation, and problem management to ensure rapid resolution and SLA compliance.
Manage and develop NOC teams, driving performance, capability building, and operational excellence.
Act as the senior interface with internal IT teams, leadership, vendors, and third-party providers.
Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, and tooling enhancements.
Oversee performance reporting, risk identification, and service optimization initiatives.
Ensure operational readiness for disaster recovery and business continuity events.
Maintain governance, compliance, documentation, and alignment with ITIL and best practices.
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of experience in IT Operations / NOC environments, with proven senior leadership exposure.
Strong expertise in enterprise networks, IT infrastructure, and service operations.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or similar).
Proven capability in incident management, root cause analysis, and executive reporting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with cloud, virtualization, and DR/BC environments is an advantage.
ITIL, Cisco, CompTIA, or similar certifications preferred.
