We are looking for a seasoned Senior IT Engineer – DevOps with 10–12 years of experience across both software development and DevOps . This role requires strong hands‑on expertise in Core Java, AWS services, microservices architecture, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud automation—along with leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a senior professional with 10–12 years of combined development and DevOps experience .
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Core Java (8+) , including OOP principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Apply excellent analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills in complex environments.
- Ensure coding standards and best practices are consistently followed across the team.
- Work hands‑on with key AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, SNS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, using AWS SDKs for both Java and Python .
- Familiarity with AWS CDK is a plus.
- Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot .
- Build scalable and efficient applications using Spring Batch and Spring Integration .
- Develop Python code—especially for AWS Lambda serverless functions .
- Contribute to Low‑Level Design (LLD) and software architecture discussions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth‑driven environment.
- Conduct code reviews , ensuring code quality, organization, and automation.
- Manage the team and ensure successful on‑time project delivery.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation .
- Develop, test, and deploy CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD , optimizing build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters—including configuration, scaling, and deployment of containerized applications.
- Automate repetitive tasks using Bash , Python , or other scripting languages.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability, scalability, and reliability .
- Develop automation scripts and internal tools to improve cloud operations and deployments.
- Implement security best practices and compliance controls across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
