Job summary

A leading audit firm in Dubai seeks an experienced audit manager to lead and manage audit engagements. The role requires strong client interaction skills and the ability to prepare accurate financial statements. Ideal candidates will have over 2 years of experience in a reputable audit firm, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is essential, and prior UAE experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• More than 2 years of experience with a Big Four audit firm or similar.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage various audit engagements from planning to final reporting.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and reviewing their work.
• Prepare and finalize financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop effective audit strategies.
• Interact directly with clients to understand their needs, present findings, and provide expert financial advice.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement improvements to internal controls and processes.
• Utilize your technical skills with accounting software and ERP systems.

Skills

What We\'re Looking For

• Experience: More than 2 years of experience with a Big Four audit firm or another well-regarded audit firm.
• Qualifications: A bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Accounting, Finance). Being an ACCA/ CA or any other relevant significant advantage. We are also open to other relevant professional qualifications.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other common accounting ERP systems.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic are a significant advantage.
• UAE Experience: Prior experience in the UAE is highly preferred. UAE driving License is advantage
