Job summary

A construction engineering firm in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a professional to provide scaffolding and temporary works design schemes for various projects. The ideal candidate will develop engineering drawings, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with project managers to meet project requirements. The role entails ensuring designs meet safety standards and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide scaffolding and temporary works design schemes for various projects.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings and calculations.
• Ensure all designs adhere to the latest codes of practice, UAE regulations and Company policies.
• Apply engineering knowledge to analyse the structural integrity of scaffolding and temporary works structures.
• Ensure designs are compliant with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct site surveys, collect and assess site information, liaise with clients and site teams.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Understand the practicalities of the erection, use and dismantle of scaffolding functions in key industry sectors, and apply this knowledge to improve our service provision.
• Accurate and timely delivery of scaffold design requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of design activities.
