Under the general guidance and supervision of the Line Manager, in coordination with the limits of established Emirates Park Zoo & Resort policies’ procedures, oversees and implements all Sales activities in his/her specific area of responsibility. Build business by identifying and selling prospects, maintaining relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted B2B sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the zoo and resort.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate sectors, travel agencies, event planners, and other relevant channels to promote bulk ticket sales and room packages.
- Manage and drive the sales of bulk tickets for zoo entry and bulk room bookings at the resort, ensuring attractive deals for corporate clients and large groups.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients, including corporate partners, event organizers, and tour operators, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to effectively position the zoo and resort's bulk sales packages.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of corporate clients and large groups.
- Lead negotiations with B2B clients, finalize contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets, with a focus on bulk sales.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and guest services teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and exceptional guest experiences.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, tracking progress against targets, particularly in the B2B and bulk sales segments.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the hospitality, tourism, or outdoor activities industry, with a focus on bulk sales.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Driving licence required
- Bilingual language will be an added advantage
Skills
- Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in bulk ticket and room sales.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry, particularly in outdoor and wildlife experiences.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a zoo, resort, or similar environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable tourism and conservation practices.
- Familiarity with the local market and key players in the B2B and tourism industry.
