About the Role

The Research and Intelligence team supports consulting teams across practices and industries at FTI Consulting in providing the research and analysis needed to deliver engagements and pitches and develop intellectual capital. The research analyst’s core responsibilities revolve around handling requests from consultants and supporting seniors in the team in developing internal products and services. The analyst also handles some knowledge management and admin tasks to help the team manage its portfolio of services.

What You’ll Do

• Support requests from all project and business development teams
• Handle low‑complexity requests independently with minimal to no guidance from seniors
• Assist the team in developing internal products and services across industries
• Present findings in a clear and structured way
• Deliver error‑free and exhaustive research outcomes
• Develop knowledge of the supported industries to build subject‑matter expertise through ongoing learning and development
• Deliver all admin‑based tasks in a timely and consistent manner
• Master all internal processes in the team and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support seniors in handling projects’ wrap‑up and related knowledge‑management efforts
