To identify and develop business opportunities for the brands within the targeted region through developing high-level customer contact, in order to maximise sales and contribution growth. Cooperating and aligning with partners’ teams on day-to-day business and sales processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Effectively plan and prioritise sales activities and customer contact, deliver sales targets, and achieve business objectives using agreed company sales tools and systems to analyse, report and monitor.
- Create Account Plans for selected customers in order to define, target and exploit business opportunities.
- Use available sales figures to identify and prioritise target accounts and develop an action plan to maximise sales and grow the business.
- To develop business relationships with key stakeholders within the defined accounts.
- Keep and develop existing customers by constantly meeting their demands and increasing their loyalty in order to maximise sales and profit in the district.
- Initiate sales and marketing activities in line with the activity plan in order to exploit business opportunities so that sales and profit targets can be met.
- Negotiate contracts/tenders with the defined customers, including pricing, in line with guidelines and procedures in order to meet customer needs and company objectives.
- Cooperate with the distributor/partners teams in terms of alignment and day to day activities, projects and sales.
- Support the customer in areas outside the products like logistics, complaint handling etc. in order to meet customer needs and company objectives.
- Use professional selling skills and negotiation skills to develop the business with both existing and new customers, optimising quality of service and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver agreed activity rates to ensure coverage and frequency of target customers and to drive sales of the portfolio.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 - 4 years’ experience as an account manager, sales manager, sales supervisor or a similar commercial role.
- 2 to 3 years of Leadership experience and a good tracking record of people development.
- Medical background
- Relevant healthcare experience preferably within a wound care or medical device environment.
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record in account management is desirable, selling to procurement level customers is essential.
