A leading paint manufacturing company in Sharjah is seeking an experienced R&D Product Manager. You will oversee product development and enhance eco-efficient coatings, requiring a solid background in automotive coatings R&D and client engagement. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and has over 7 years of experience. This full-time role offers a salary up to 40K AED based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive coatings R&D, including OEM client engagement, plant trials, and product approvals.
  • Preferred training in ISO, DOE, GLP, or GMP.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee product development, improvement, technology transfer, and budget management aligned with OEM requirements.
  • Develop high-performance, eco-efficient coatings using customer insights and industry trends.
  • Resolve product issues, maintain OEM specifications, and manage certifications.

About the Client: A UAE-based company and one of the largest paint manufacturers in the Middle East, offering a wide range of decorative, industrial, marine, powder, and eco-friendly coatings.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee product development, improvement, technology transfer, and budget management aligned with OEM requirements.
  • Develop high-performance, eco-efficient coatings using customer insights, industry trends, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Resolve product issues, maintain OEM specifications, and manage certifications and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor R&D staff, engage with suppliers and clients, conduct benchmarking, and support commercial initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Paint Technology, or Chemical Engineering; preferred training in ISO, DOE, GLP, or GMP.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive coatings R&D, including OEM client engagement, plant trials, and product approvals.
