Job description
Overview

This position is based in Jebel Ali, Dubai with regular travel to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia required.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement QHSE strategies aligned with corporate goals and client expectations.
  • Lead the integration of QHSE systems across transportation and installation projects.
  • Ensure alignment with Aramco and ADNOC QHSE frameworks and contractual obligations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Ensure adherence to UAE federal regulations and international oil & gas safety standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification for offshore and onshore operations.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee QHSE audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective / preventive actions.
  • Monitor and report QHSE KPIs to senior leadership.
  • Team & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage and mentor the QHSE team across multiple project sites.
  • Liaise with Aramco, ADNOC, and other regulatory bodies on QHSE matters.
  • Represent the company in external forums and client meetings.
  • Training & Development: Design and deliver QHSE training programs tailored to oil & gas operations.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Contract & Project Support: Evaluate QHSE aspects of new contracts and tenders.
  • Support project teams during mobilization, execution, and demobilization phases.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Safety Management.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of QHSE leadership experience in oil & gas, with direct exposure to Aramco and ADNOC projects.
  • Professional certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO Lead Auditor, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in managing QHSE in offshore transportation and installation environments.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in managing multicultural teams.
  • Familiarity with marine logistics, heavy lifting, and subsea installation safety protocols.
  • Political acumen and ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
