The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within major Oil & Gas projects. You will be responsible for coordinating activities, ensuring compliance with standards, and preparing reports. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential, along with proficiency in QA/QC software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within major Oil & Gas projects.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of inspection techniques (e.g., CSWIP 3.1/3.2, AWS-CWI, ASNT Level II) is advantageous.

Job description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all quality assurance and quality control activities across the project. The role requires strong technical knowledge of QA/QC procedures excellent coordination capabilities and the ability to effectively interface with internal teams clients and subcontractors to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and project specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate all QA/QC activities related to engineering procurement construction and commissioning phases.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the Project Quality Plan and related procedures.
• Interface with client QA/QC representatives to address quality concerns and ensure compliance.
• Monitor and ensure implementation of ITPs method statements and QA/QC documentation requirements.
• Track and report quality performance indicators and coordinate NCRs CARs and preventive actions.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Manage the flow and control of QA/QC documentation including inspection reports material traceability and certifications.
• Ensure QA/QC teams are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly QA/QC coordination reports to senior management.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Metallurgical or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within major Oil & Gas projects including coordination roles.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of inspection techniques and certifications (e.g. CSWIP 3.1/3.2 AWS-CWI ASNT Level II) is advantageous.
• Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines and manage QA/QC activities effectively.
• Strong documentation reporting and communication skills.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
• Thorough understanding of international codes and standards (e.g. ASME API ISO) (Preferred).
• Experience working with EPC contractors or in multi-disciplinary project environments(Preferred).
• Proficiency in QA/QC software or document management systems (Preferred).
• Strong leadership problem-solving and organizational skills(Preferred).
