A construction management firm is seeking a professional responsible for managing the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in roads, utilities, and marine works. The role includes liaising with the Project Manager to maximize commercial benefits and producing various reports to monitor project performance. The position is located in the United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

• +5 years experience in roads, utilities, infra, marine nature of works.

Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with the Project Manager on commercial matters.
• Assist in identifying circumstances for additional time or money.
• Produce monthly Contract Cost Value Reconciliation reports.
• Monitor correspondence for commercial issues.
• Identify and review areas of commercial risk with the Project Manager.

Job description

Responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• To liaise closely with the Project Manager / Project Director on all commercial matters to jointly obtain maximum commercial benefit from a project.
• To assist the Project Manager / Project Director in identifying circumstances occurring on the project, which entitle the Company to additional monies or time and to ensure that contractual notices are given within the time limits set down in the Contract.
• To produce monthly Contract Cost Value Reconciliation (CCVR), Forecast Reports and any other commercial reports as required.
• Monitor all Project correspondence for commercial issues and initiate commercial correspondence.
• To identify areas of commercial risk on the Project as early as possible and review with the Project Manager ways of avoiding that risk.
