We are currently recruiting a Production Support Officer - Aircraft for our client based in Dubai, UAE.
Job Scope:
This role focuses on ensuring efficient material flow and warehouse/logistics operations within an aircraft/engine maintenance environment.
Responsibilities:
Material Planning:
- Initiate planning actions for effective materials fulfillment, liaison with vendors for optimizing material flow, and conduct regular reviews of inventory and supplier performance.
- Interpret maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, and technical notices for spares support. Plan long- and short-term material requirements in conjunction with maintenance plans for engine inductions.
Warehouse & Logistics:
- Supervise material accumulation against Work-In-Progress (WIP) engine material shop orders.
- Review shipped clean items repair to establish final condition. Monitor and report parts received from vendors for traceability.
- Monitor EEMC inventory for expired items and publish forecasts.
Marshalling/Accumulation Responsibilities:
- Ensure technical kitting is performed correctly, updating the status on the ERP dashboard/share drive with details on contents, status, location, shipment information, and tracking numbers.
- Verify kitting accuracy and readiness for engine and module builds based on the original engine configuration, highlighting any discrepancies.
- Confirm parts are at the correct revision level and comply with Conformity and PMA part requirements. Communicate with internal shops (Receiving, Production, In-house Repair) to ensure material readiness for roll dates and operational needs.
- Maintain proper certification paperwork with parts throughout the kitting process.
- Review all materials before releasing to production to ensure correct SB/AD/MOD status, part numbers, and serial numbers for installation. Verify that swapping parts and modules meet all requirements and procedures, including TSN/CSN, TSO/CSO, BTB, correct documentation, and customer approval.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; OR Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Supply Chain/Logistics; OR Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience, including at least 3 years in Materials Support, Aircraft/Engine Technical Planning, or an equivalent role.
- Extensive knowledge of logistics/supply in aircraft/engine maintenance. Thorough understanding of OEM guidelines, Airworthiness regulations, and industry standards. Proficiency in Technical Documentation Review and Understanding. Experience with ERP systems (IFS or similar). Experience analyzing maintenance data for management insights.
