We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and streamline all procurement activities across our group of schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and achieving cost-effective purchasing outcomes.

The ideal candidate must have prior experience in educational institutions, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality goods and services while complying with school policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  1. Handle the procurement of educational materials, classroom supplies, technology, furniture, and facility-related items.
  2. Manage all procurement activities to support the smooth functioning of school branches.
  3. Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality goods and services while complying with school policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Source reliable vendors and negotiate contracts to secure the best value for the school.
  5. Manage the end-to-end purchasing process ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  6. Collaborate with the Finance Department to monitor purchasing budgets and control costs effectively.
  7. Ensure all procurement activities comply with school policies and local regulations.
  8. Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and related documentation.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
  10. Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
  11. Work closely with school leaders, teachers, and staff to understand and meet specific operational needs.
  12. Anticipate requirements for upcoming academic terms and special school projects.
  13. Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and implement best practices.
  14. Regularly review market trends to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  15. Develop procurement strategies for the organization and implement tender procedures in line with the organization’s goals.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. 5-10 years of procurement experience, preferably in a school environment.
  3. Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  4. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
  5. Familiarity with educational supplies, facility management needs, and vendor contracts.
  6. Knowledge of UAE procurement regulations is a plus.
