We are looking for a Procurement Manager to manage the company’s procurement activities, ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services required to meet business needs. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement processes are cost-effective and align with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the procurement process to ensure cost-effectiveness, centralization, and the use of appropriate contracting strategies.
- Provide recommendations for procurement decisions and strategies, including the development of best practices.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements for goods and services with suppliers and vendors.
- Work with suppliers and contractors to improve contract terms and conditions.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on procurement activities and outcomes.
- Identify suppliers that offer competitive prices for goods and services, and find opportunities to reduce costs.
- Organize and manage bidding events (e.g., RFQ, RFP) and conduct competitive analysis.
- Perform market benchmark analysis for new and renewing purchases.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring suppliers comply with the agreed terms.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely approval processes.
- Coordinate supplier evaluations and performance assessments.
- Maintain necessary documents for audits and compliance purposes.
- Conduct regular evaluations of suppliers to monitor and improve their performance.
- Assist in process improvement efforts, including system automation and engineering.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, logistics, with a strong focus on sourcing, supplier relationship management and contract management.
- Relevant certification in Procurement such as CPP, CIPS etc. would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in procurement tools, particularly Coupa
