You will lead negotiations with suppliers, manage contract finalisation, and coordinate procurement with project timelines. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience on high-rise building projects in the UAE, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong negotiation and communication skills. Salary ranges from AED 10,000 to AED 14,000 monthly.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join a leading real estate development organisation in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience working with developers or main contractors and a strong background in strategic sourcing negotiations and contract finalisation across major construction packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal pricing, quality and delivery timelines.
• Manage procurement and contract finalisation for PS items including:
  • Enabling Contractors
  • Elevator Contractors
  • MEP Contractors
  • Aluminium & Glazing Contractors
  • Swimming Pool Contractors
  • Joinery Contractors
• Handle the full procurement lifecycle from Material Requests (MRs) / BOQs through to final delivery or service completion on site.
• Conduct strategic sourcing and spend analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Plan and manage procurement schedules, delivery methods and budgets to ensure timely project execution.
• Coordinate closely with Design and Project teams to align procurement activities with project timelines.
• Collect, assess and share supplier qualification and performance data.
• Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly procurement performance reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 45 years experience on high‑rise building projects in the UAE.
• Prior experience working with developers or main contractors is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge within construction and real estate procurement.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
