Job Description

AECOM is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in procurement and administration to contribute to our projects in the region.

Procurement Coordination
  • Assist in the procurement process, including the preparation and issuance of purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions.
Vendor Management
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and conditions.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and related files.
  • Generate reports on procurement activities for management review.
Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement.
Communication
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers and finance teams, to understand procurement requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Office or Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a professional services or engineering environment.
  • Proven experience in procurement or a related administrative role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Knowledge of procurement software/tools is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
