Job description

Overview

We are seeking a Presales Architect to join the Axway team! You will be part of the Sales Team in our Dubai office, representing Axway, a global software company and market leader in governing data flows.

Responsibilities

• Assist in driving new business, evangelizing our technology, onboarding and training new customers, and establishing revenue with existing clients.
• Demonstrate high technical expertise on Axway's Gateway products and other industry-leading solutions.
• Help customers define their digital architecture to maximize product benefits.
• Collaborate with sales teams to design and detail technical solutions.
• Deliver workshops, product demos, technical training, and Proof of Concepts.
• Prepare technical content for RFI/RFP responses.
• Support escalations, design solutions, answer technical questions, and foster customer relationships.
• Stay informed about industry trends and business processes.
• Work with technical, sales, professional services, and partner teams, supporting clients across Italy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Software Engineer, Pre-Sales, or Technical Consultant in enterprise software.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology.
• Strong relationship management and organizational skills.
• Ability to articulate solutions and build value propositions.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Leadership in discussions with product managers, engineers, and executives.
• Understanding of cloud computing trends and competitive technologies.
• Sense of urgency and a collaborative mindset.
• This role supports clients and partners across Italy.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Java, JavaScript, or scripting skills.
• Experience with K8s/Openshift.
• Knowledge of AI.
• Familiarity with messaging, communication protocols, REST/SOAP/XML, and security standards like OAuth, SAML, LDAP, SSO.
• Experience with software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
