Job summary

A leading engineering firm seeks an experienced Civil Inspector in Abu Dhabi for a contract position. The successful candidate will inspect excavation activities, verify quality checks, and ensure compliance with engineering standards. Candidates should have a diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 7 years of relevant experience, particularly in power or industrial projects. The position does not allow for remote work.

Qualifications

• 7 years experience as Civil Inspector on foundations/earthworks.
• Experience on power plant or heavy industrial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect foundations excavation backfilling and compaction activities.
• Verify rebar formwork and anchor bolts before concrete pours.
• Witness soil and concrete tests and review results.
• Ensure civil works meet drawings specs ITPs and HSE rules.
