JOB SUMMARY

The Physician Recruitment & Compensation Specialist is responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment, offer and contracts for physicians in alignment with the approved staffing plan. The role requires strong analytical capabilities to support workforce planning, compensation offer preparation, and tracking of recruitment and onboarding outcomes. The role partners closely with internal stakeholders to source and mobilize high-quality physician talent globally, ensure timely and compliant onboarding, and prepare compensation offers in accordance with established guidelines. Responsibilities also include supporting the onboarding and offboarding processes for hires and exits.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Compensation Analytics, Offers and Contracts
  • Provide analytical support to the compensation function of OPSA
  • Prepare physician compensation offers in accordance with OPSA compensation guidelines
  • Coordinate approvals of compensation offers with OPSA leadership and relevant C‑Suite members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of all physician compensation‑related records
  • Prepare employment contracts and appointment letters in accordance with approved templates
  • Liaise with Rewards to ensure alignment with the most current compensation policies.
  • Provide administrative support for OPSA committees, as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Physician Recruitment
  • Source, screen, and support the selection of highly qualified physician candidates globally in alignment with the approved annual staffing plan.
  • Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines through targeted advertising and proactive outreach.
  • Ensure timely completion of all physician recruitment activities in accordance with approved staffing timelines.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with institutes to ensure alignment with fair employment practices and organizational policies.
  • Coordinate site‑visits for potential physician joiners
  • Ensure clear and professional onboarding communications at all times with incoming caregivers.
  • Provide onboarding support by liaising with internal stakeholders (HR, Recruitment, Payroll, IT, Facilities, etc.) and external vendors (immigration, housing, travel agencies) to complete mobilization requirements.
  • Provide onboarding support by coordinating with the PRO for visa and medical for incoming caregivers.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree
PREFERRED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, Analytics.
Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of work experience is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret workforce, recruitment, and compensation data to support informed decision‑making.
  • Proficient in the use of spreadsheets and PowerPoint
  • High degree of professional discretion and confidentiality, particularly with compensation and contractual information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
PREFERRED
  • Experience in physician recruitment, healthcare recruitment, workforce planning, or medical staffing within a hospital or healthcare system
  • Ability to speak and write in Arabic is preferred.
