Overview

Develop, maintain and enhance ecommerce platforms using PHP and Laravel framework.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and manage multiple payment gateways (e.g. PayPal, Stripe, etc.) to ensure secure and reliable transactions.
• Work on ecommerce functionalities including shopping carts, checkout processes, inventory management, and customer experience enhancements.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize application performance and scalability, ensuring fast loading times and smooth user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Monitor and implement security measures to protect sensitive customer data.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development, ecommerce, and payment processing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a PHP/Laravel Developer with a focus on ecommerce and payment gateway integration.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and related frameworks.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay) and a deep understanding of payment flow, security, and compliance (PCI-DSS).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like React is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL) and database design principles.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
