Job summary

A financial institution in Al Ain seeks an Operations Specialist Checker to ensure accurate screening of alerts in the digital onboarding process. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing alerts and adhering to company policies and guidelines. The ideal candidate should be adept at maintaining detailed logs, ensuring compliance with assigned KPIs, and completing additional projects as directed by management. This role is crucial for upholding regulatory standards and ensuring customer data confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must ensure alerts are adequately reviewed and analyzed.
  • Need to maintain current knowledge on Policy and guidelines.
  • Should attend all mandatory and regulatory training.

Responsibilities

  • Review alerts and decide based on SOP and Policy guidelines.
  • Ensure strict adherence to turnaround time (TAT).
  • Maintain logs of errors and report incidents timely.

Role: Operations Specialist Checker
Location: Al Ain
Role Purpose: Ensure accurate screening of alerts in digital onboarding process.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure alerts are adequately reviewed and analyzed prior to discounting or escalating to L3 for GCD review
  • Ensure discounting of alerts is done as per GCD guidelines/Policy
  • Ensure transactions are reviewed/actioned as per TAT
  • Remain current and UpToDate in terms of changes in Policy and guidelines published by GCD.
  • Ensure all mandatory trainings and Regulatory training sessions are attended and assessments completed on time.
  • Ensure access to sensitive customer data remains restricted.
  • Key Accountabilities of the role
  • Review alerts and take appropriate decision as per SOP and Policy guidelines
  • Ensure adherence to TAT
  • Help the makers understand the error/impact in case of error/ambiguity.
  • Maintain a log of errors for trainings
  • Report incidents in GRC on timely basis as per Policy
  • Ensures adherence to assigned KPIs.
  • Update Daily MIS for analysis and Team Leader/Managers review
  • Timely reporting/logging of system issues
  • Undertake any additional assignments / projects entrusted by the line management and complete them as per requirement
