Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate with pricing/sales teams for quotations and obtain rate confirmations from customers.
  2. Verify necessary details and documents before shipping.
  3. Prepare and process import/export documents for clearance.
  4. Liaise with brokerage team for documentation and compliance.
  5. Open Job cards in efreightsuite system for each transaction.
  6. Coordinate shipments via air, courier, sea freight, or land freight for export and import.
  7. Prepare and send shipment pre-alerts and accurate documents for clearance.
  8. Track shipments and update relevant departments and customers on status.
  9. Ensure customs files and original documents are updated and forwarded for customs submission.
  10. Manage daily import/export shipment tracking and handle delays appropriately.
  11. Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  12. Gather support documents and expenses for job card and costing.
  13. Update job card details for accurate reporting in efreightsuite system.
  14. Maintain records of Proof of Delivery (POD) for future reference.
  15. Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
  16. Ensure compliance with Saudi import regulations and documentation requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the same field.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; IT skills are an advantage.
  • Good working attitude, able to work independently or in a team.
  • Understanding of UAE & Saudi Arabia import/export rules and compliance.
